Bobby Ray Lynn, 64, of Yorktown, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Bobby was born December 20, 1953 in Columbus, OH to the late Joe and Willie Ruth Lynn. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1973 and went on to attend New Mexico State University. Bobby was a United States Army Veteran and retired master electrician. He was a NASCAR fan and avid Colts fan.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of  over 35 years, Margaret Lynn; three sons, Kenneth Lynn (wife Schlenia), Steve Lynn (wife Sarah), and Brian Lynn (wife Elisha); a special daughter, Marla Bamford; 13 grandchildren, Joe, Cody, Kenzie, Cameren, Seth, Cheyenne, Justin, Jason, Avery, Brycen, Ashna, Kristina, and Kaylee; a sister, Debbie Waters (husband Larry Waters); an uncle, Lee Lynn; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Blake Lynn; and four brothers, Rick, Ronnie, Gary, and Duane Lynn.

A funeral service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Larry Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2018 and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to aid in expenses in care of Margaret Lynn.
