Bryan Dale Bennett, 53, of Yorktown, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Bryan was born on February 25, 1968, in Muncie to the late Franklin Bennett and Naiia Ireland. He attended Yorktown High School and had worked for Bennett Electric. Bryan was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, hunting, shooting, and making hemp jewelry.

Bryan is survived by six children, Corey Bennett, Justin Bennett, Ashley Kowalski (husband Austin), Daisha Bennett, Jacob Bennett, and Jerry Bennett; and many grandchildren.

Bryan was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Bennett; and grandson, Nicholas Bennett.

A funeral service to celebrate Bryans life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Rory Bond will officiate. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Thursday, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
