Darwin Leon "Buddy" Warrell Jr., 64, of Muncie, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.

Buddy was born on February 14, 1956 in Muncie to Darwin and Bobbie (Crum) Warrell. He graduated with honors from Muncie Southside High School in 1973. Buddy worked as a welder at Dawson's Manufacturing in his younger years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Buddy enjoyed bowling, football, watching tv, guitars, and classic rock.

Buddy is survived by his mother, Bobbie Warrell of Muncie; two children, Christie Warrell (Andy Foster) of Parker City and Ross Warrell (Shannon) of Hasting, FL; five grandchildren, Joseph Foster, Easton Foster, Nathan Warrell, Gavin Warrell, and Peyton Warrell; two brothers, Jeff Warrell (Heather) of Summitville and Greg Warrell of Muncie; and four special nieces and nephews; Amber Young, Hannah Warrell, Josh Warrell, and Mandy Denny.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Warrell Sr.

A funeral service to celebrate Buddy's life will be private due to the current government regulations. Buddy's brother, Pastor Jeff Warrell, will officiate. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, 1201 W. Memorial Dr., Muncie, IN 47302.
