Donna Marie Daugherty, 66, of Yorktown, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, surrounded by her family at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson following a courageous battle with cancer.

Donna was born on June 23, 1956, in Muncie, Indiana to the late Robert and Lillie Goggans. She was a 1974 graduate of Yorktown High School. Donna had worked for Yorktown Tool & Die and retired from Ball State University's LaFollette Hall. Donna enjoyed spending time and cooking for her family.

Donna is survived by three children, Mike Daugherty (wife Stacie), Jessica Daugherty (fiancé Steve Mullen), and Nicole Prose (husband Chris); brother, Chuck Scroggs (wife Debbie); 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Daugherty; fiancé, Sammy Clevenger; brother, Bobby Goggans and his wife Debbie; two sisters, Montene Wickert and Connie Rosemeyer; and her bonus mother, Nola Goggans.

A funeral service to celebrate Donna's life will be held a 11:00 am Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Donna to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, 15 S. Franklin St., New Ulm, MN 56073.
