Eva M. Cook, 57, of Muncie, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at The Woodlands Nursing Home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Eva was born on November 21, 1966, in Bluffton, Indiana to Samuel A. and Nancy H. Cook. She attended Yorktown High School and graduated from Anderson High School. She was a home health aide for 23 years and a lunch monitor at Pleasant View Elementary School for one year. Eva attended Life Journey Church. She was a Green Bay Packers and New York Jets Fan strictly because of Aaron Rodgers. Eva enjoyed photography, playing the guitar, and collecting lighthouse memorabilia.

Eva is survived by her partner, Carla Windsor; father, Samuel Cook (wife Bonnie); two brothers, Sam Cook Jr. and Glynn R. Barber Jr. (Kellie) ; two sisters, Marty Keating (husband Brad) and Mindy Archey; four special friends, John Parks, Candace Collins, Taylre Cross, Randy Crabtree; two goddaughters, Emery and Aryiella; and her beloved dog, Lucille Marie Windsor Cook.

A graveside service to celebrate Eva's life will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Thompson Cemetery in Gaston. Burial will follow.

Memorial contributions may be given for her headstone in care of Carla Windsor, 1300 Bunch Blvd. Apt. 26, Muncie, IN 47303.
