Jackie Watkins-Stevenson, 84, of Muncie, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Community Hospital in Anderson.

Jackie was born on April 23, 1938, in Muncie, to the late Norvel Haffner and Verna B. Noble. She attended Muncie Central High School. Jackie retired from General Motors in 1993. She was a Golden Eagle member of the Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed bingo, gameshows, and soap operas.

Jackie is survived by four children, Michael Watkins (Suzie) of New Castle, Tim Watkins (Rita) of Muncie, Jill Watkins of Muncie, and Todd Watkins (Teri) of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Bob Haffner of Harry's Corner, AL; sister, Verna Sue Terry (Larry) of Yorktown; two special granddaughters, Elli Czosnek and Tiffany Watkins; 12 additional grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Mahlon Stevenson; two brothers, Larry Lee Haffner and Michael Noble; a sister, Connie Swingley; and two grandsons, Timothy Watkins II and Chad Alan Watkins.

Jackie will be cremated and there will be no public services.
