Judith A. Lewis, 83, of Yorktown, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Yorktown Manor following a long illness.

Judith was born on November 3, 1936 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Rex and Loretta Ball. She attended Burris High School and went on to graduate from Ball State University with a Master's Degree in Education. Judith worked as an elementary school teacher for Muncie Community Schools for over 30 years. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and attending garage sales.

Judith is survived by three children, David Lewis (wife Cindy), Dennis Lewis (wife Doris), and Linda Hoyt (husband Jeff); sister, Cindy Ball; brother, Chris Ball; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Lewis.

A graveside service to celebrate Judith's life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2020 at Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown.
