Kathryn M. Broyles, 65, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at her home in Gosport, Indiana.

Kathryn was born on April 13, 1956, in Elwood, Indiana to the late Ed and Gertrude (Gall) Glotzbach. She was a 1974 graduate of Alexandria Monroe High School and went on to earn her associate degree in nursing from J. Everett Light School of nursing. Kathryn worked as an LPN for 30 years before she retired. Kathryn enjoyed canning, gardening, crocheting, and needle point.

Kathryn is survived by five children, Angie Jackson, James E. "Bo" Broyles (wife Charity), Michelle Freeland (husband Robert), Robyn Chambers (husband Joel), and Brandi Owens (husband Chuck); sister, Donna Flatford (husband Iseral); 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, James "Jim" Broyles, earlier this year. Kathryn was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and David Jordan.

A funeral service to celebrate Kathryn's life will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 20, 2021, at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St. in Gaston, Indiana. Pastor Dan Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, at Gant Funeral Homes – Gaston Chapel.
