Leza Carpenter Tschuor, 60, of Yorktown, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Leza was born on September 17, 1963, in Muncie, Indiana to Louie and Sandra Carpenter. She was a 1982 graduate of Yorktown High School. Leza worked as a realtor and broker and had also worked for Ball State University. She attended Abundant Life Church. Leza cherished having fun, embraced the outdoors and was always the life of the party. She looked forward to trips with her family to the Florida beaches and spending time with friends on the pontoon. Relaxing in the sun with her feet in the sand while listening to Kid Rock was Leza's zen. She enjoyed athletics, music, dancing, and gatherings with family and friends. Her greatest joy was being a Mimi to her grandchildren.

Leza is survived by her two daughters, Gabby Bering (husband Kevin) and Alias "Ali" Tschuor (husband Seth Maxwell); three grandchildren, Louie, Linkoln, and Lennon Bering; parents, Louie and Sandra Carpenter; three siblings, Cheyneen Barr (husband Jeff), Dane Carpenter (wife Kris), and Andra Stout (husband Joey); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Leza was a breath of fresh air and a light of positivity to others. To honor her, please consider planting a tree in Leza's legacy.
