Mary Jane Fallis, 93, of Gaston, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at Yorktown Manor in Yorktown, Indiana.

Mary Jane was born November 11, 1922 in Summitville, Indiana to the late Cletis and Olive (Brake) Bair. She graduated from Summitville High School in 1940 and married Val Jean Fallis on May 1, 1940. Mary Jane was a homemaker and had also worked for Collins Grocery in Gaston and the Upland Chair Factory. She was a member for the Summitville Methodist Church and the Gaston United Methodist Church. She was also a 50 year charter member of the Well Wishers Home Ec Club.

Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband of 76 years, Val Jean Fallis of Gaston; three children, David Fallis (wife Karlene) of Yorktown, Donald Fallis (wife Janice) of Ludington, MI, and Sharon Simpson of Nineveh, IN; a sister-in-law, Wilma Tudor of Bloomington; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by three siblings, Miriam Mason, Tom Bair, and Phyllis Collins; and a son-in-law, George Simpson.

A funeral service to celebrate Mary Jane's life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Gaston United Methodist Church, 105 N. Main St. in Gaston, Indiana. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Monday at the Gaston United Methodist Church.
