Mary Easterly, 70, of Muncie, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Mary was born on June 23, 1953, in Anderson, Indiana to the late William Edward Granger Jr. and Flora Elizabeth Granger. Mary was a lifelong dog lover and worked as a dog groomer. She enjoyed fishing. Mary had a loving, giving, and gentle spirit. Her creative cooking was enjoyed by all who were blessed to partake in it.

Mary was survived by her significant other and love of her life, Steve Overbey; son, Greg Easterly; three grandchildren, Eathan Easterly, Sara Fenton, and Abby Barnhouse; a sister, Paula Suciu; three nieces, Heather Sweeney, Josey Suciu, and Dawn Hiatt; and one nephew, Ross Boyd. Mary was also blessed to mother, Kena Overbey, Kristina Dodd, Karla Partin, Stephenee Overbey, Emily Overbey, and Jonathon Overbey, and the late Chasity McKnight.

Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Granger.

Mary will be cremated with no public services.
