Nancy J. Hannon (Terry) passed away on December 4, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born on January 8, 1941, in Muncie to the late Gerald and Leverna Terry. She was a Yorktown High School Graduate. Nancy was a homemaker and had worked for the Gaston Cabinet Factory, The Woodlands Nursing Home, and the Sudlow Potato Factory throughout her life. She attended River of Life Church. Nancy enjoyed being with her family, gardening and was an avid walker.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John H. Hannon; son, John W. Hannon; daughter, Kellie Allred (husband Rick); two grandsons, Thomas Hannon (Stephanie) and Eric Barton; sister, Billie Blevins; two brothers, Larry Terry (wife Verna Sue) and Jerry Terry; and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by a son, John H. Hannon Jr.; two sisters, Shirley Martin (husband Elvin) and Betty Johnson (husband Joe); and her father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and May Hannon.

Nancy's family would like to offer a special thank you to Bethel Pointe, Heart to Heart Hospice, and Nancy's nurses: Amy, Heaven, Sarah, Hailey, Stacy, Leigh, and Rachel.

A funeral service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2022, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Pastor Denny Helton will officiate. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Friday, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
