Grace Rosemary (McCord) Lillie, 91, of Yorktown, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Muncie, Indiana.

Rosemary was born January 11, 1926, the only child of John R. and Cleata (Thomas) McCord. Rosemary married Myron J. Lillie on June 14, 1946. Myron and Rosemary were longtime residents of Yorktown and it was there that they raised their two sons, John (J.B.) and Lance. Rosemary was an accounting clerk and was employed by City Sales and Service, Jim Wilson, CPA and retired from Chastain, Dew and Thomas CPA.

Myron and Rosemary were very involved with, and attended, Yorktown United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. They were also members of the Moose Lodge. Rosemary was a past member of the Red Hat Society. She also loved to bake and play euchre.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Myron.

Rosemary is survived by her sons, J.B. McCord of Yorktown (friend, Sue Smock) and Lance (wife Nancy) of Cedarburg, WI; four grandchildren, J.J. and Bart Lillie, Raeanne (Aaron) Orebeaugh and Staci Luck; and ten great-grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Rosemary's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St., Yorktown. Pastors Woody and Emily Sears will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel.
