Shawn B. Engle, 46, of Muncie, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at his home after suffering a heart attack.

Shawn was born July 19, 1971 in Washington, Pennsylvania to Harry and Linda Engle. He graduated from Washington High School in 1989. In 2004, he married Jamilee McKenna. He was a laborer in the UAW Local 321 Union. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with Jamilee.

Shawn is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Jamilee Engle; two sons, Tyler Engle (wife Ashley) of Muncie and Zachary Engle of Muncie; three step-children, Alani Pineda, Ashleigh Widstrup, and Noah Widstrup all of California; two grandchildren, London Engle of Muncie and Cayden Engle of Muncie; parents, Harry and Linda Engle of Albany, IN; siblings, Harry Engle Jr. of PA, Michael Engle of Albany, and Cindy Engle of PA; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Shawn's life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. Yorktown, Indiana.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 5:00 P.M. until

6:00 P.M. on Friday at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given to aid the family with the unexpected funeral expenses in care of Gant Funeral Home, 2215 S. Broadway St. Yorktown, Indiana.
