Vicki Lynn (Dunn) Vaught, 64, of Yorktown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at her home in Yorktown.

Vicki was born on October 18, 1956 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Albert E. and Dorothy V. (Badgley) Dunn. Vicki was a 1974 graduate of Yorktown High School. She earned her paralegal and business degree's at Ivy Tech Community College and earned her LPN license at Anderson School of Nursing. Vicki worked as an LPN for over 25 years with the last 12 years in healthcare marketing, home health, and geri phych. Vicki was a member of the Yorktown American Legion and Kiwanis International. She enjoyed working in her yard, singing, playing guitar, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Vicki is survived by four children, Leslie Vaught (fiancé Edward Wiely), Matt Vaught, Amy Hamilton (husband Nick), and Emily Samon (husband Joshua); eight grandchildren; Micheal Rhum, Dalton Rhum (wife Jaelyn), Justin Vaught, Pierce Keihn, Matt Vaught Jr., Dorothy Jean Vaught, Dallas Paul, Rylan Samon, and a granddaughter due in June; a great-granddaughter, Liliana Rhum; and many nieces, nephew, and extended family.

Vicki was preceded in death by three siblings, Nancy Johnson, James Dunn, and Judith Hines.

A funeral service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, March 8, 2021 at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St., Yorktown, IN 47396. Pastor Jerry Badgley will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm Monday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
